The acquisition expands Medtronic ENT’s portfolio of treatment options for sleep-disordered breathing. Medtronic ENT also offers the Pillar^® Palatal Implant System, used to treat the soft palate component of sleep breathing disorders along with an existing family of market-leading ENT instruments used to treat other upper airway obstructions.

The Repose THS Procedure for Obstructive Sleep Apnea is quick to perform and minimally invasive by design, a trained surgeon, on average, can perform a Repose THS in 15-20 minutes, while a Repose Hyoid Myotomy procedure is typically performed in 30-45 minutes.
